At approximately 11:30 p.m. on 3.22.25, my family arrived at Z Burger, This was our first night in DC on vacation. My son ordered a double cheeseburger with roasted and raw onions, ketchup and lettuce and a chocolate milkshake. He received a double cheeseburger with mushrooms, tomato and lettuce and the chocolate milkshake. He woke up around 6 a.m. violently ill with chills, vomiting, diarrhea, headache, cramps and nausea. We went to the nearest urgent care clinic, but they were unable to administer I.V. fluids. We were then sent to Sibley Memorial Hospital, where he spent 10 1/2 hours. He had to have a stomach CT and urine/blood sample collections. He received I.V. fluids and pain/nausea meds. He was released with a prescription for nausea and over the counter pain medications and a diagnosis of gastritis, most likely due to food poisoning. He was unable to participate in the family vacation as a result. | Symptoms: Nausea, Diarrhea, Vomiting, Stomach Pain, Cramps, Chills, Headache, Gas
