We flew to Cape Verde We’d 1.11.23 by Sunday both myself and partner had severe diarrhoea. We are still not completely recovered, but fortunately had taken 3 packs of Imodium which we used up. We couldn’t eat much and couldn’t move far from conveniences during our visit..… See more

My partner and I are currently in a suite in the Hilton in Sal, Cape Verde, both of us have suspected food poisoning, horrible stomach cramps and sickness/diarrhoea. Our guess is the ice cubes in the drinks, we haven't eaten/drank outside the hotel.  | Symptoms: Diarrhea, Vomiting, Cramps

We had eggs for lunch on Sunday morning ever since we were bedridden.
For my part, I had diarrhea for 3 consecutive days, with stomach aches. I had to go to a pharmacy to buy solutions to rehydrate myself.
