I had one mussel I knew right away that it was bad. Luckily I spit it out and therefore I did not have gastrointestinal issues. But one hour later I had a swollen lips and still have urticaria all over my torso even after 10 days! Never before did I have a reaction to shellfish.  | Symptoms: Swelling

Had the shrimp stew dish. First time ordering seafood on day 5 of our stay in Guatemala. Felt immediately nauseous, cold sweated all night, violently threw up five hours later. Husband also had several bites and is currently throwing up. Nicest restaurant ever but just don’t order seafood.  | Symptoms: Nausea, Vomiting, Sweating
