An outbreak of norovirus has been confirmed at Grand County Schools by the Southeast Utah Health Department. Spokesperson Brittney Garff said the Utah Public Health Laboratory confirmed the gastrointestinal illness to be norovirus on May 16 via testing of stool sample kits. So far, 35 cases have... The health department is urging students with symptoms to stay home until their symptoms have ceased for 48 hours. The department is also asking that siblings of students attending Grand County Schools who have similar symptoms to stay home from their schools as well.
Norovirus is very contagious and is easily transmitted from person to person most through the oral/fecal route. Considering that hand sanitizer does NOT work against this virus, it is important to wash your hands with soap frequently. Use bleach to clean and disinfect surfaces.
In case you experience vomiting, diarrhea, and nausea, report it now. It can help to detect & resolve outbreaks early and prevent others from being harmed, and it enables better surveillance. If symptoms persist, seek medical care.

We ate here on Monday, August 1, 2016. We got horrible food poisoning from the Ultimate Omelette. Spent the next 24 hours puking and not being able to eat anything.
