Hearing about everyone getting sick from LC. I buy them all the time and from Crest without a problem. One box of Golden Grahams did make me extremely ill a few weeks ago. It felt like a balloon blowing up in my stomach and I threw up. Strange. what's going on"??
December 18th, 2021 I had a sushi roll from there and within a few hours started having stomach pains. Overnight these stomach pains got worse. Sunday my stool was very soft (mudslide) but not diarrhea yet I was still having stomach pains. Sunday evening my stools turned... See More into pure liquid at this point. Overnight I could tell I was running a fever because I woke up shaking uncontrollably in chills, this night I was going to the bathroom almost every hour for diarrhea, I think the shaking from the chills is what made me vomit this night. I did try taking pepto before I went to bed Sunday but clearly it didn’t work. Monday I still had diarrhea, I took anti diarrhea pills and around 3pm my diarrhea finally turned into (mudslide) this was better than diarrhea so I was counting my blessings. The anti diarrhea pills caused me to have horrible gas going into Monday night my husband said I practically blew him out of the house from my gas 😔. Tuesday came around and I still had gas and stomach pains. Tuesday evening came I had pickles because I was craving them and my diarrhea started again. The recalled product is:
- 22.75-oz. vacuum-sealed packages containing pieces of “GRUBBERPUTZ’S TACO PREMIUM PIZZA Made with Taco Sauce, Refried Beans, Beef, Taco Filling, Cheddar Cheese, Taco Tortilla Chips”.
- 24.25-oz. vacuum-sealed packages containing “GRUBBERPUTZ’S 3-MEATER PREMIUM PIZZA Made with Pepperoni, Canadian Style Bacon, Pork Sausage”.
- 23.1-oz. vacuum-sealed packages containing “GRUBBERPUTZ’S HOG UNIT PREMIUM PIZZA Made with Canadian Style Bacon, Bacon, Jalapeno Peppers, BBQ Sauce”.
- 24.5-oz. vacuum-sealed packages containing “GRUBBERPUTZ’S HOUSE SPECIAL PREMIUM PIZZA Made with Pepperoni, Pork Sausage, Green Pepper, Red Pepper, Onions, Mushrooms”.
- 21.75-oz. vacuum-sealed packages containing “GRUBBERPUTZ’S PEPPERONI PREMIUM PIZZA Pepperoni made with Pork, Beef”.
The affected products were produced from September 20, 2022, through September 20, 2023, and bear the establishment number “M- 47285” inside the USDA mark of inspection.
FSIS is concerned that some products may be in consumers’ freezers. Consumers who have purchased these products are urged not to consume them.

Kraft Heinz is announcing a voluntary recall of approximately 83,800 cases of individually-wrapped Kraft Singles American processed cheese slices that were shipped to a limited number of customers. The voluntary recall comes as a precaution after a temporary issue developed on one of our wrapping machines, making... See More it possible that a thin strip of the individual film may remain on the slice after the wrapper has been removed. If the film sticks to the slice and is not removed, it could be unpleasant and potentially cause a gagging or choking hazard. No injuries or serious health issues have been reported.
Products included in the recall include 16 oz. Kraft Singles American Pasteurized Prepared Cheese Product with an individual package UPC of 0 2100061526 1 and a “Best When Used By” date of 10 JAN 24 through 27 JAN 24. Individual packages in this recall will contain an S and 72 in the Manufacturing code. Also included in the recall are 3 lb. multipacks of Kraft Singles American Pasteurized Prepared Cheese Product with a carton UPC of 0 2100060491 3 and a “Best When Used By” of 09 JAN 2024 through 13 JAN 2024 and 16 JAN 2024.
Only Kraft Singles American processed cheese slices with the case/package information mentioned above. No other varieties or sizes are included in the recall.
The issue was discovered after we received several consumer complaints about finding the plastic stuck to a slice, including six complaints of consumers saying they choked or gagged in connection with the issue. Kraft Heinz has fixed the machine that wrapped the affected slices and all other processing machines have been inspected. Consumers who purchased these items should not consume them and can return them to the store where it was purchased for an exchange or refund.
