I am writing to express my serious concern regarding an incident at Chick-fil-A where my 1-year-old son was served undercooked chicken. The LittleOak Company is recalling their LittleOak Natural Goat Milk Infant Formula due to non-compliance with FDA premarket notification requirements. Premarket notifications for new infant formula are intended to demonstrate the safety and nutritional adequacy of the formula by providing the FDA the opportunity to review key... See More information about ingredients in the product, key nutritional information, and manufacturing information, among other things, before the product is available long-term on the U.S. market. These products were sold online through the company’s webpage. At this time, the agency is not aware of any associated illnesses or complaints related to the LittleOak products.

The recalled products are:
- LittleOak Natural Goat Milk Infant Formula
- LittleOak Natural Goat Milk Follow-on Formula

The FDA advises parents and caregivers not to feed LittleOak Infant Formula to infants under their care. Parents and caregivers of infants who have purchased these products should understand that the products have not been evaluated to determine whether they meet U.S. food safety and nutritional standards. The preparation instructions on the label don't match common US infant formula measurements, potentially causing mixing errors that harm infants. Using alternative measuring methods can introduce microbial contaminants, which the FDA advises against.

If your infant is experiencing symptoms after eating the product it is important to report it. It can help to detect & resolve outbreaks early and prevent others from being harmed, and it enables better surveillance. If symptoms persist seek medical attention.
