My spouse ate the food at the resort's buffet and restaurant. I restricted my eating and stuck with a little bread and coffee. The night before we left he fell ill. He could not get out of bed the morning after. He vomited. He had headaches, flu like symptoms and fever. Hopefully we flew first class so the flight crew was very attentive to us. Upon arriving home in the States; we immediately went to the ER as I thought his breathing was erratic and he was still very ill. The doctors examine samples of his stool and blood. His diagnosis was a bacterial infection caused by Listeria. This bacteria grows in meats, fish, vegetables and poultry that is not refrigerated and maintained properly. The doctor added this bacteria is very common in humid climates where foods are not refrigerated and handled properly. | 症状: 腹泻, 恶心, 呕吐, 其他, 发烧, 头痛
