My spouse ate the food at the resort's buffet and restaurant. I restricted my eating and stuck with a little bread and coffee. The night before we left he fell ill. His diagnosis was a bacterial infection caused by Listeria. This bacteria grows in meats, fish, vegetables and poultry that is not refrigerated and maintained properly.
