Ordered Orange Chicken, noodles, and fried rice. About 2 hours later, as my flight was taking off, I became violently ill. Spent the whole 2 1/2 hour flight in the plane bathroom vomiting. After landing in Chicago, spent another 45 minutes in the bathroom vomiting. Nausea never

stopped, profusely sweating, and became so disoriented I could barely operate my phone to call 911. Ambulance took me to ER, where I spent about 5 hours with IV fluids and anti-nausea meds. Nothing helped but the hospital released me anyway...or kicked me to the curb I should say. (That’s a whole ‘nuther story) Spent the next 24 hours nauseous, dry heaves, and vomiting up any small amount of liquid I was able to get down. Began vomiting “coffee grounds” type, dark brown stuff. Went to another ER where I was admitted. Spent 24 hours getting IV fluids and potassium. Doctor evaluated me, first thing she said was “Look up Fried Rice Syndrome”, and she explained about the type of bacteria in rice, that it creates a toxin if not kept at proper temperatures. That doctor hit the nail on the head! Instinctively I knew that is EXACTLY what happened to me. Turns out, right around that same time, there was a report in the news about a woman who had recently been placed on a ventilator from eating fried rice. Who knew?! I’ve continued to suffer from the whole experience, not only the physical sickness, I’ve continued to replay the horror I felt, all alone with no friends or family able to drive within 2 hours of me, as I sat in the bag claim area so sick I could hardly hold my head up, vomiting into a bag, profusely sweating and shaking, scared outta my whits. It’s like a nightmare that keeps replaying in my head. Disgusting Panda Express, not only did your food make me violently ill, my pschye will never be the same after my whole ordeal.
