I am currently hospitalized with shigellosis after developing bloody diarrhea, nausea, fever, chills, and headache during pregnancy. My brother has also been hospitalized with shigella. My husband and I split a burger and fries. Within 24 hours he was vomiting, within 48 hours I was as well. Sx lasted 1 - 2 days
