Baixiang Soup Flavor Instant Noodles recalled due to undeclared allergen

Kiwi Treasure Trading Limited has issued a recall for Baixiang brand Artificial Chicken Soup Flavor and Artificial Pork Bone Soup Flavor Instant Noodles. The recall has been initiated due to the presence of an undeclared allergen, peanut, in the products. The products are sold online and at selected Asian Grocery stores throughout New Zealand.

The products under recall include:
1. Baixiang brand Artificial Chicken Soup Flavor Instant Noodle Packet (555g – 5x 111g Package)
2. Baixiang brand Artificial Chicken Soup Flavor Instant Noodle Bowl (107g)
3. Baixiang brand Artificial Pork Bone Soup Flavour Instant Noodle Packet (565g – 5x 113g Package)
4. Baixiang brand Artificial Pork Bone Soup Flavour Instant Noodle Bowl (108g)
All batches and all dates where peanut is not declared on the label. The products are sold in a plastic package containing 5 individual packets and in individual plastic bowls. The products are imported from China.

Consumers with a peanut allergy are advised not to consume these products. If they have already consumed any of these products and have concerns about their health, they should seek medical advice. Those who are not allergic to peanuts are not affected by this recall. Customers with a peanut allergy should return the products to their retailer for a full refund.
