Moon N Sea GA LLC is recalling several seafood products due to processing under unsanitary conditions. The recall affects products distributed in Alabama, Georgia, South Carolina, and Tennessee, all sold in bulk. The issue was identified by the Georgia Department of Agriculture.AFFECTED PRODUCTS:
PRODUCT: Fresh Chilean Salmon Fillet

- Packaging: 50 lb brown corrugated cardboard box (up to 6 fillets per box), contains ice for temperature control
- Product Quantity: 1051.14 lb

PRODUCT: Fresh Scottish Salmon Fillet
- Size: Variable weight
- Packaging: 50 lb brown corrugated cardboard box (up to 6 fillets per box), contains ice for temperature control
- Product Quantity: 1429.13 lb
- Storage: Keep refrigerated
PRODUCT: Blue Fin Tuna
- Size: Variable weight
- Packaging: 50 lb brown corrugated cardboard box, contains ice for temperature control
- Product Quantity: 59 lb
- Storage: Keep refrigerated
PRODUCT: Yellow Fin Tuna
- Size: Variable weight
- Packaging: 50 lb brown corrugated cardboard box, contains ice for temperature control
- Product Quantity: 68.10 lb
- Storage: Keep refrigerated
No printed expiration dates all products were delivered fresh within 1~2 days of processing
The recall was voluntarily initiated by the firm on June 24, 2025, following notification from the Georgia Department of Agriculture. The classification date for the recall was July 30, 2025 and was classified as Class II. The recall is currently ongoing.
