Foodstuffs Own Brands Limited has issued a recall for Gilmours brand Original Corn Chips due to the presence of undeclared allergens, specifically milk and soy. The affected product was sold at Gilmours Wholesale stores in the North Island and online at Gilmours Wholesale Food and Beverage.The recall involves:
- Gilmours Original Corn Chips
- In 650 g packages
- With a best-before date of "13 MAY 26."
The issue arose when a batch of Gilmours Cheese Corn Chips was mistakenly packaged as Gilmours Original Corn Chips.
The recall was initiated on March 25, 2026, after the packaging error was discovered. The recall is classified as a Class I recall, indicating a high risk due to the presence of undeclared allergens.
