Fromagerie Blanc, a French cheese manufacturer, has issued a recall for its raw milk goat cheese due to the detection of Listeria monocytogenes, a bacteria that can cause listeriosis. The recalled products were distributed throughout France. The issue was discovered through routine testing, which revealed the presence of Listeria monocytogenes.The recall includes a variety of cheese products under the Fromagerie Blanc brand, including Palet, Sauvaget, Fusette, St maure, Crottin, Bûchette, Pavé, Roue, Tricorne, Pyramide, Pictou, Arc, Fleur du Japon, Chabis, Cabris, Tour, and Cœur.
- Aged lactic cheese from batches 60 to 96. Date of between 29/04/2024 and 04/06/2024
- Fresh lactic cheese from batches 60 to 96. Best before date between 29/04/2024 and 04/06/2024
- Bloomy rind cheese from batches60 to 96.Best before date between 29/04/2024 and 04/06/2024
