I went to Universal Orlando for a week on April 13. The day we left for home, April 19, we ate at the Hard Rock for lunch and I had the Chicken and Mac and Cheese. I was the only person in my group to order chicken. 10 hours later I was vomiting, had chills and diarrhea, and developed a fever of 103F that would not come down for several days. It got so bad we thought it may have been my gallbladder or a ruptured appendix. After multiple doctor visits and a trip to the hospital, culture results came back positive for campylobacter jejuni, which can be found in undercooked poultry. Before that, the last time I had chicken was 2-3 days prior, with no symptoms. I attached a photo of the food, and a screenshot of the time/date/place the photo was taken, and a screenshot from a video I took, which shows the same date as the photo, and the recognizable Cadillac above the bar. That’s the first bad experience I’ve had from this Hard Rock, and I’m sure they hold themselves to a higher standard than that.
