Impossible Burger Reaction - Impossible Burger, San Francisco California

I'm writing to report an adverse reaction to Impossible Burger. This is probably not an episode of food poisoning, per se, bur rather more likely an idiosyncratic reaction to some ingredient in Impossible Burger.

I made pasta with Impossible Burger for my family tonight, using Melissa Clark's "Cheesy Baked Pasta With Sausage and Ricotta" recipe, substituting 1 packet (12 oz) of Impossible Burger for the sausage that the recipe calls for. We ate at 7 pm. Starting at 9:30 pm, my spouse had terrible abdominal cramps, multiple bouts of emesis, and copious diarrhea. My kids and I are fine.

We're pretty sure that the Impossible Burger is the culprit, because this is the second time that my spouse has had abdominal pain and vomiting after eating something with Impossible Burger in it. We consume the other ingredients that went into the pasta with regularity and don't have any issues with them. | Symptoms: Nausea, Diarrhea, Vomiting, Cramps

Blood in stool and toilet paper, a couple hours after eating the impossibile burger from a Starbucks.

Yes. It’s probably the chemical residue in the product. I get sick each time I ate it. I know there was a concern about whether it is high in pesticide.
