- The concerns were apparently related to a complaint of "cockroaches observed" where the insects were allegedly found on a customer’s plate
- “One live cockroach was observed,” the inspector noted, recommending the restaurant close for a deep cleaning and to “bring in pest control for (a) deeper inspection.”
- The inspector reviewed past pest control reports indicating treatment for roaches was performed during the last three pest control inspections in September, October and November this year ― the latter being less than a week before the Health Department came in.
- The report also said some areas were “dirty with food debris,” the microwave hadn’t been cleaned from the day prior, and the hand wash sink drain was plugged, among other issues.
