Blue Cheese Illness Report - Wegmans, Amherst New York

Purchased two kinds of blue cheese, Gorgonzola from Italy, and Blue from France on 8/23/21. Had somewhat of an amoniated smell, not unusual for blue cheeses. On 8/30 I consumed the Gorgonzola. The next morning I was so sick with projectile vomiting I had to call off from work. I stayed in bed all day. Maybe a week in the refrigerator was too long, I don't know. Moving forward I think I have PTSD and will avoid blue cheese in the future. stores raise the bar for hygiene and sanitation. | Symptoms: Nausea, Vomiting
