Wings Cause Lingering Illness - Buffalo wild wings, Camillus New York

6 years ago reported by user-txrzw721 business

Buffalo Wild Wings, Township Boulevard, Camillus, NY, USA

200 Township Boulevard, Camillus, 13031 New York, United States

The first time I ate there—small traditional wings with mild sauce & moderate in the side—the food was excellent, service was excellent, perhaps because it was mid-week, mid-afternoon, and they were not busy. My daughter and I went back on July 27 just before 5 PM. I ordered a medium size traditional wings meal, planning to take home what I couldn’t finish, and my daughter ordered the sampler with honey BBQ boneless wings. The service was still very good given how busy they were. I managed to eat 5 wings before I was too full for more. They did not taste as good as I remembered, skin was not as crispy and some wings not as hot as others, although all were warm. Shortly after midnight, the severe cramping and diarrhea started. I’m now on day 5 with no relief in sight. Have only had toast, rice, rice cakes, and one banana since (BRAT diet usually works for diarrhea). Am guessing it might be salmonella given the length of time I’ve been ill, but that usually resolves in 4-7 days from onset of symptoms, so I’m looking forward to Friday night! | Symptoms: Diarrhea, Cramps
