Undercooked Chicken Strips Illness - Bush's chicken, Rosenberg Texas

6 years ago reported by user-vpzg3163 business

Bushs Chicken, Avenue I, Rosenberg, TX, USA

5400 Avenue I, Rosenberg, 77471 Texas, United States

Sunday, October 20, 2019. My 7 and 13 year old kids were sick with cramping, backaches, vomiting and diarrhea the next morning. Friday, October 25 was the worst with both kids still experiencing the above symptoms but then had fevers of at least 100°. I have had it the worst with nausea, diarrhea, cramping, severe migraines, back pain, joint soreness, loss of appetite, sensitivity to light and sound, fatigue, sleeplessness, sleepiness, neck pain, smelly burps and had the highest fever of 102° the morning of Friday, October 25 with chills and severe agitation. My husband also has diarrhea, cramping, back, neck and joint pain. My 13 year old and myself have weakened immune systems. As of Saturday, October 26, we're all still experiencing some symptoms. Husband spoke to the manager to inform him of our distress and was given a refund but I don't feel his explanation to us was sufficient enough and the chicken strips we all ate were under cooked and still slightly pale pink and his explanation was that the food was kept under the heat lamps for too long. This is the second time we've gotten sick from this location since reopening this year. Obviously something isn't right about their cooking process. | Symptoms: Diarrhea, Fever, Nausea, Cramps, Chills, Fatigue, Loss of Appetite, Body Ache, Other, Weakness, Migraine, Burping, Joint Pain, Soreness
