On August 7 I purchased a Santa Fe sandwich from Carl’s Jr. around 3:45 PM. When I took my first bite, the chicken had a weird texture. I decided to take off the chicken and continue eating the sandwich with the veggies without realizing that what was going on was the chicken wasn’t cooked all the way, so I end up getting chills fevers are the next day I end up in the hospital at 3:30 AM with lots of pain, fever, nauseous, and diarrhea eventually turned into bloody diarrhea. I was admitted into the hospital for three days with a fever of 104 for two days , my colon was inflamed, and my intestines had caught a bacteria from eating the sandwich that had a chicken that wasn’t fully cooked I was released from the hospital with anabiotic’s, and with bloody diarrhea and pain in my stomach doctor said eventually it would go away but for the time being, I can’t return to work until the diarrhea is gone that has put me in a big burden. I am a sole provider of my home bacteria that I got from the chicken is called CAMPYLOBACTER. I am almost certain that they are cooking the chicken to time and not to temp because sometimes those chicken pieces could be a little bit smaller or bigger please someone Hass to look into this I literally almost died from this I would hate for someone to actually die from choosing to go and get a piece of chicken sandwich. | Symptoms: Nausea, Diarrhea, Vomiting, Fever, Chills, Stomach Pain, Bloody Stool1 week ago •reported by user-mckvb253 • details
