Chick-fil-A Illness Suspected - Chick-Fil-A, Fort Wayne Indiana

1 year ago reported by user-bdwy5515 business

Chick-fil-A, Coliseum Boulevard West, Fort Wayne, IN, USA

182 Coliseum Boulevard West, Fort Wayne, 46805 Indiana, United States

My daughter had Chick Fil A Saturday around 6pm and at 8pm she was shaking and cold and had a headache that turned into a migraine. Later that night her fever was 102.5. I gave her Tylenol and she had to call off work on Sunday. She kept taking Tylenol while laying in bed but Monday (today) she was worse so I took her to IU Urgent Care. They ran a Covid test and Flu test. She vomited twice when she was there so they gave her a shot of Phenegren for nausea. Covid and flu tests were negative and the doctor asked her what she had to eat that day she got sick. She had banana bread for lunch and Chick Fila strips and waffles fries for dinner and the doctor immediately reacted when I mentioned Chick Fil A. He said she has food poisoning and sent her home with a script for more Phenegren. She’s also supposed to continue with Tylenol. Her heart rate was elevated and they said if she gets worse to take her back to the ER. Then I was given a list of specific foods and liquids that I could give her. Now I need to go to the pharmacy and go get groceries for her. | Symptoms: Nausea, Vomiting, Fever, Headache, Shaking, Migraine
