- comments: observed no handwashing sink in bar/coffee prep area connected to pizza pasta restaurant 2nd floor. Instructed to provide for employee use as required by code. Priority foundation violation. 7-38-030 (c). Citation issued.
49. Non-food/food contact surfaces clean
- comments: observed all heavy equipment, microwaves, cooling/ freezing units, prep tables, storage spaces in all operating/and non-operating prep areas with accumulated dried food debris on surfaces. Instructed to remove, clean and maintain.
51. Plumbing installed; proper backflow devices
- comments: observed no food preparation sink in place in 2nd floor wine bar/coffee prep area connected to la pizza pasta restaurant. Instructed to provide as required.

- comments: observed expresso machine drainpipe leaking onto floor in lavazza coffee prep area, causing pooling water, milk, etc. Noted hot water handle on 3 compartment sink in 2nd floor dish room in disrepair. Instructed to repair and maintain in good condition as required by code.

- comments: observed floors in all prep areas with storage spaces accumulated food debris underneath all heavy equipment and shelving units. Noted pooling water underneath gelato machines and excessive water on dishwashing area floors during the time of inspection. Instructed to remove to prevent pest harborage
56. Adequate ventilation & lighting; designated areas used
- comments: observed inadequate lighting in the pasta restaurant's rear dry storage area. Must provide. Noted all missing bulbs in ceiling of 1st walk-in cooler in basement upon entering prep area. Instructed to replace bulbs and increase lighting
