Cold Airline Meal, Diarrhea - Airlines, London England

6 days ago reported by user-qfdny395

Ethiopian Airlines

London, England, United Kingdom

It was on plane 22/3/26 Chicken that was supposed to be hot and was served with foil paper open and was cold on Ethiopian airlines There was not even milk on board, the service was very poor.

During my flight with Ethiopian Airlines, I was served a chicken meal that was cold, despite it being expected to be properly heated to a safe temperature. The foil covering was also not sealed correctly. A salad was served alongside the meal. Following this, I became unwell with symptoms consistent with food poisoning. Medical investigations showed a significantly raised result of 489 (normal range 0–75), indicating intestinal inflammation consistent with infection such as Salmonella infection. As a result of this illness: * I experienced ongoing diarrhoea and significant discomfort * I developed soreness due to frequent wiping * I missed work * I required medical attention and testing * I experienced weight loss I am also aware of at least two other individuals who travelled on the same flight and experienced similar symptoms, raising concerns about a potential food-related outbreak. Despite this, the airline has stated that their food was safe and has dismissed my concerns, which I find very frustrating. I feel that my experience has not been taken seriously, and at the very least, I would expect an acknowledgment and apology.. From Ethiopia | Symptoms: Diarrhea
