6/26/21, Ate at the Japanese restaurant Saturday evening. Had several things off the menu including sushi and shrimp wonton. I know, what was i thinking. This was around 6pm. Finished dinner and went out till around 11 pm. Woke up at 3am with severe cramps and severe explosive diarrhea. Got back to bed and could not stop shivering for about 15 minutes no matter how many blankets i got under. Around 830 am i woke up and said to my wife something is terribly wrong. I cant move. Every joint and muscle in my body was screaming with pain. She helped me to the hot tub where i stayed for over an hour. I remained in bed that day with diarrhea stomach pains and chills accompanied with body aches and pains. Made it to dinner that evening between diarrhea episodes only because i wanted to see the michael jackson tribute that evening. After that right back to the bathroom then bed. Multiple episodes through the night. Monday travel day. Made it home thankfully after using facilities at both airports and the plane. Ugh. Monday evening continued with the diarrhea but only to add now it has traces of blood. Wonderful. As i right this only went twice overnight but tuesdays morning bout was alot of blood.All in all nice resort and entertainment.
Be smart, dont eat shellfish or seafood in a foreign country that you know doesn’t have the ability to keep it from getting contaminated. Gonna go see if my toilet can take another punch now. Hopefully less blood. Wish me luck | Symptoms: Nausea, Diarrhea, Other, Cramps, Chills, Stomach Pain, Body Ache, Joint Pain
