Airport Meal: Salmonella Illness - Airports, Cancún Quintana Roo

We ate here Wednesday the 20th 2021 around noon. It was our only meal consumed before symptoms of salmonella poisoning began.
Within a few hours of my wife eating Chicken Alfredo with a glass of soda w/ice my wife developed a gurgling stomach. Within 12 hours she couldn't keep down any food or drink and had developed diarrhea. Within 24 hours she had developed a fever, headache, body aches, extreme diarrhea and severe vomiting. This went on for two full days. On the third day she gave up being strong and we paid a visit to the emergency room where they diagnosed her with salmonella poisoning. | Symptoms: Nausea, Diarrhea, Vomiting, Other, Fever, Headache, Body Ache
