Ordered a Bird Dog Pizza and Chocolate Chip dessert pizza from here on Thursday evening, June 16, 2022. Only my daughter and I ate the chocolate chip pizza (her a small slice, myself two slices) last Thursday evening. In the middle of the night, I awoke with the absolutele worst bout of food poisoning I have ever had. For hours, I vomited, had diarrhea and dry-heaved violently until I was finally so dehydrated and dizzy and weak, I had to be taken to the hospital. I had to receive a two rounds of intravenously-provided fluids to rehydrate and has to have full blood workup/testing performed to ensure nothing was wrong with my kidneys, and provide a urine and blood sample. It was horrible, and I can only imagine what the bill is going to look like when it comes.My daughter that also ate the chocolate chip pizza ended up throwing up the next day, but thankfully wasn't too bad off following that episode. My husband and youngest daughter who only ate the bird dog pizza were fine.
The general consensus is that I likely suffered food poisoning, and likely from undercooked food; most probably undercooked cookie dough on the chocolate chip pizza we purchased, resulting in me getting salmonella poisoning. Needless to say, as much as I loved the desert pizza before, I will NOT be having it again!!!!! | Symptoms: Nausea, Diarrhea, Vomiting, Dehydration, Weakness, Dizziness
