I work for a travel agents and was very excited to take my daughter on her first all inclusive holiday. We stayed for 5 nights and on day 4 my daughter starred feeling ill. The differences in the food we ate were salads and fish. My daughter began to feel very ill indeed and starred projectile vomiting. I went for bottled water but the vending machines were out of order. She started vomiting at 8pm and continued until 2am with bought of extreme diorrhea. I went ti reception and the night porter gave me bottled water and a can of fizzy mineral water (which I read happens regularly) he said its a bug but I know different. On talking to a couple on departure they too were sick through the night as were there friends. My daughter vomited in reception as we checked out. I'm very upset that my daughter went through this. We were che king out this morning so unfortunately there was no choice but to get up and go out into the sun and onto a transfer bus. It is almost 24 hours 1 bus.1 flight.1 metro and 1 train since and my daughter is still white. | Symptoms: Nausea, Diarrhea, Vomiting, Stomach Pain, Cramps
We stayed at this hotel 6/2/24 my husband was so ill with these symptoms that an ambulance was called and he was hospitalized I started being sick the next day and was sick every 10 minutes for 5 hours on the plane
I don't know why nothing is being done about it over such a long period of time, so many people are ill, and new reports are constantly being added. And yet the hotel gets good reviews, just incomprehensible to me
Once you contact Riu's head office they will advise you that it has nothing to do with them. They will tell you that your contract is with Gui. Then once they say they cant undo the unfortuante circumstances, they than you for choosing Riu, and we hope to see you back at our hotels. What a disgrace.
I'm here on vacation for 12 nights. On the 6th night, it started with nausea, then vomiting until bile was vomited. Then the diarrhea began with severe circulatory problems and excessive sweats. I then took a taxi to the nearby hospital. Gastrointestinal infection. Lie flat in bed for several days with headaches, diarrhea, and chills. It was previously only eaten, drunk and spent time in the hotel, so it can't come from anywhere else. At lunchtime, I was then able to watch several times how birds make fun of it. A dead dove has been lying around at the children's pool for several days.
