Rancid Southwestern Bowl Illness - Huddle House, Live Oak Florida

Saturday, still in bed Something 'rancid' in the Southwestern bowl .entrie I hadn't been anywhere for several days We left the house and went straight to the restaraunt as my wife was excited to try it out for a breakfast location. I had no contact with anyone prior. This was the obvious cause of my being so sick. About two hours after leaving there I'd been waiting in a parking lot while my wife shopped. I needed to use the facilities , but when I got out of the truck I was so dizzy I had to lean against the truck to regain my valance. Shortly after I started a headache with a sore throat. Similar to Covid We both had before any doctors knew about covid. But this was a different kind of head ache, like my eyed were sore also with pressure behind them . Understand I haven't been sick literally for years , last time was covid months before it was diagnosed. By then we were both over it. Like a really bad flu. Again, I'm 65 years old, disabled, don't get out much or entertain to come into contact with anything viral. My wife should own stock in alcohol as she dissinfects everything. Tables , shopping carts, door handles, gas pumps, you get the idea. What ever this was, was rancid, I know rancid as I used to work at a dog food rendering plant. Also ran a trap line where I'd make my own bait, the more smell/rancid the better attracting it was. That is what I don't understand, as bad as this tasted , and after taste I don't understand why I didn't detect a smell. Like it was dry until I had chewed it, twice, to be precise.
Aches, muscle and joints, fever, dizziness( about two hours after) 'It was in my mouth. I spit it outimmediately. Tasted like limburger cheese smells. Rancid. Diarrhea, ongoing but getting better own after two days. I'm disabled and we don't get out much. I know this s food poisoning or whatever was inthe dish. Looked light tan in color like a pan fry but no pan fries were supposed to be in dish. Manager tried to say they get potatoes frozen and just heat them up. Told him there's no potatoes in the dish why I had a side of hashbrowns . Said it smelled like the Southwestern sauce...wife said it smells sour and rancid. She can't smell well and she could smell it. This is a new breakfast place which we were excited about. Went there after Debbie came through. Something I did notice a food handler behind the counter had dreadlocks twisted high on her head uncovered except for a kerchief around her forehead. I'd rather it was a dead mouse....the color was the same as what I'd spit out mixed with rest of the forkfull I'd put in my mouth. The manager took the 'item' and disappeared into the kitchen. He did before leaving ask if I wanted another bowl......I said no I'm done. I rinsed my mouth with iced tea and spit it in the toilet, obviously, to little to late.. | Symptoms: Headache, Sore Throat, Diarrhea, Fever, Dizziness, Joint Pain, Muscle Pain
