23/07/2024 at night, on arrival, 4 days after staying at the Iberostar Selection Hacienda Dominicus, my daughter caught severe food poisoning, with fever, caused by the food on the buffet. We asked Mr. Pedro for help at the hotel, who arrogantly told me to call an ambulance, which arrived immediately. The doctors diagnosed food poisoning with the already severely dehydrated patient. They wanted to take her to the hospital, but the hotel refused to pick her up and I had to activate my travel insurance. A doctor came and put intravenous serum on my daughter and medicated her, but it didn't help given the seriousness of the situation. The doctor returned a day later with more serum and medication, and at this time I had to threaten the hotel that would report what was happening to the other guests, as we knew that there were other cases and that the hotel was responsible. Only from that moment on did they start to monitor the situation to a minimum. It should be noted that I have photos that explain all this: handling food with my hands, fruit full of flies, food before being cooked with a bad smell and in viscous liquid, all disguised with strange sauces. In a hotel of this size there is no minimum knowledge of basic hygiene. With severe dehydration, the hotel's negligence in maintaining food, doing so without the minimum of basic hygiene.
