Gold Sauce Illness Suspected - KFC, Marion Illinois

7 years ago reported by user-dtyxw844 business

KFC, W Deyoung St, Marion, IL, USA

1404 W Deyoung St, Marion, 62959 Illinois, United States

Ordered two $5 fill up boxes, both two extra crispy drums, mashed potatoes and an order of potato wedges; one for myself and one for my boyfriend. I ordered a Georgia gold drum on the side for myself, and I believe that is what made me sick. My boyfriend was fine, but I was woken up in the middle of the night with *not so great* symptoms following extreme stomach cramps. I have done some research, and many of the “gold” sauces (which may or may not have been used at KFC, I’m not sure) in the US have been recalled since 4/20/18 by the FDA. | Symptoms: Diarrhea, Nausea, Vomiting, Cramps
