- comments: observed the hot water temperature over 120f at the hand washing sink in the boys' washroom near room 125. The water temperature at this sink cannot be regulated by the user. Management instructed to maintain the hot water temperature between 100-120f. Priority foundation violation 7-38-030(c).
38. Insects, rodents, & animals not present
- comments: improper pest control. Approx. 285 mouse droppings were observed throughout the school. Observed evidence of rodent activity on the premises in the following areas: 20 droppings in the corner of rm. 111 near the storage cabinets, 5 droppings on the floor in rm. 104, 10 droppings on the floor of rm. 102, 50 droppings in the dry storage closets of rm. 207, 20 droppings on the storage shelf near the dish machine in rm. 207, 20 droppings on the floor around the grease trap in rm. 207, 10 droppings on the floor behind the washer and dryer in rm. 211, 55 droppings on the floor's corner and behind the stoves in rm. 215, 30 droppings on the floor in rm. 209, 50 droppings in the storage closets in rm. 103, and 15 droppings on the wooden pallets in rm. 137. Management instructed to clean and remove rodent droppings from all affected areas throughout the school. Additional pest control service is needed to eliminate the pest activity throughout. Priority foundation violation 7-38-020(a).
55. Physical facilities installed, maintained & clean
- comments: must clean and organize the boxes of stock and equipment in rm. 137 to eliminate pest harborage conditions. Must store equipment 6' off of the floor and away from the walls.
