Undercooked Burger Illness - McDonald's, New York New York

8 years ago reported by user-tphvg738 business

McDonald's, 18 E 42nd St, New York, NY 10017, United States

18 East 42nd Street, New York, 10017 New York, United States

I got there around 130 to 2 am . They were slow and people were waiting a long time for orders . I place my order I got a number four . A double quarter pounder fries and a sprite. I have a habit of only eating one meat patty at a time and it tasted funny i left half of it but I figured it was the sweet and sour sauce I added. As I'm about to eat the other meat patty it see its raw. I immediately took it to the manager. I told him "look I didn't finish my sandwich but I ate some of it and look at the meat it's raw" he explained to me and said "well maybe the patty you had before was on the higher temperature we only cook those meat patties for 45 seconds , next time just tell us you want the meats well done because once we cook it it's always medium rare" I regret not saving the photo it was pink and white in the center never in my life have I experienced something like this . As soon as I finished my fries I knew I was going to be sick. I got home around 3 and on the way home I had to pull over to throw up . I figured if I drank ginger ale it would help but it's about to be 7 in the morning and I'm still feeling ill. I have to see a doctor now . | Symptoms: Diarrhea, Nausea, Vomiting
