My husband and I went thru the drive in at the McDonalds in Apple Valley, in the Home Depot shopping Center at 10:30 am. We ordered 2 sausage egg biscuit no cheese for him and 1 regular egg McMuffin for me. We pulled over to eat before going shopping. Immediately, we found that instead of giving my guy what he ordered, they gave him 2 sausage egg McMuffins with cheese. It would have been better if we had walked into the bldg and complained he got the wrong sandwiches, but we had things to do so he ate them. Within a half hour, he began complaining he didn’t feel good. My guy is a serious type 1 diabetic on a pump, so he thought his blood sugar was off. It was high so he gave himself insulin. As the day progressed, he felt sicker and sicker but he couldn’t describe what was wrong. He kept running to the bathroom in Home Depot. He had never had food poisoning before so he couldn’t explain what was wrong other than he had severe pain in his chest and stomach area. I told him he should go to the ER but he just wanted to go home. He laid down in bed and then jumped up and didn’t make it to the toilet in time. He profusely threw up all over the floor while having massive diarrhea at the same time. Then I knew he had food poisoning. I realized McDonalds gave him the wrong sandwiches because it was their cut off from breakfast and those sandwiches may have been sitting under their heat lamps baking for who knows how long, cheese and sausage??? I called in to complain on their 800 number, corporate # and all I got was a recording asking why I had called in. That was over an hour ago and still waiting for a call back when I found this site. We will never eat at any McDonalds again!!! | Symptoms: Diarrhea, Nausea, Vomiting
