Ghost Pepper Wings Illness - Popeyes, North Providence Rhode Island

2 years ago reported by user-fkykb838 business

Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen, Mineral Spring Avenue, East Greenwich, Providence, RI, USA

1382 Mineral Spring Avenue, North Providence, 02904 Rhode Island, United States

On 06/27/2023, I decided to try the ghost pepper wings with fries, biscuits, rice and beans for lunch. I made the most regrettable decision of my life..... After, a couple hours of eating my lunch I spent the rest of the afternoon in the bathroom with diarrhea. Next day, my stomach stills feels upset from eating that food. | Symptoms: Diarrhea

Spicy food can cause diarrhea due to capsaicin, perhaps it was that? Plus you also had beans.

I don’t think that’s due to food poisoning. The thing with ghost pepper foods is that it comes out hotter than it went in

Hi, thanks for your comment. TIP: It is common to get food poisoning from chicken wings. The highest risk comes from eating undercooked or raw chicken that can pass on salmonella bacteria. Symptoms of salmonella food poisoning can begin as early as 12 hours after infection and can include bloody diarrhea, cramping, and fever.
