Cockroach infestation. An inspector visited in response to two complaints that people saw a roach on their table. The inspector saw six live roaches under an oven and refrigerator, and more than 20 dead roaches in various locations. There were also about 30 mouse droppings under the ice machine and another refrigerator. There were two other critical violations — the chef didn’t wash hands properly and some shrimp was at an unsafe temperature. Additionally, there was mold around the ice machine dispenser. This was the restaurant’s fourth B or C grade and second closure since 2018; the 2018 closure was for having an opossum, snails and worms in the facility.
