I bought a frozen bag of wild caught salmon portions. Two days later I thawed it by putting it in water for two minutes and seasoning it and placing it in the oven. After cooking, I immediately put it in my salad and began to eat it. After I ate it, 10 min later I felt nauseous and began to violently throw up all of the salmon.Suspected food poisoning. Symptoms: Nausea, Vomiting, Headache

Hi, thanks for your comment. TIP: You can get sick from food that quickly. If the contamination is chemical or physical, symptoms can start within minutes. If it is biological contamination, it can start as fast as 30 minutes (e.g. Staph). Other types of contamination can take longer, it all depends on what it was, but it can be fast.
