Steak 'n Shake, Wells Road, Orange Park, FL, United States

1681 Wells Road, Orange Park, 32073 Florida, United States

My family and I went to steak and shake on the night of May 28th around 9:30.I normally do not pick steak and shake for dinner due to how unclean the place is and the service sucks, but my kids wanted milkshakes. As we sat down we asked the waitress about the accident that happened right by property & she told us it was a drunk driver who knocked their electricity out for 3-4hrs.Should have been my first sign not to eat but we were hungry & tired from a fun day. All 6 of us ordered milkshakes burgers and fries.Around midnight my husband started vomiting violently then shortly after my 4yr old vomited violently.I ended up taking my 4yr old to the ER where they diagnosed it as "Food Bourne Illness" I was feeling fine until 8am May 29th along with our family friends that were with us.Their son thankfully only got sick once but it's because he didn't eat his food or his milkshake. I know for sure this has tainted how I feel about steak and shake.First of all there needs to be better training for your staff,a routine upkeep on the building,& if you have to close for 3-4hrs someone should have been smart enough to not serve tainted food to its customers. | Symptoms: Diarrhea, Vomiting
