Undercooked Steak, Severe Illness - Texas Roadhouse, Pasadena Maryland

11 months ago reported by user-yzcf7563 business

Texas Roadhouse, Mountain Road, Pasadena, MD, USA

4465 Mountain Road, Pasadena, 21122 Maryland, United States

My husband and I went February 16 approximately 6:30-7:30pm range of time. I ordered the barbecue chicken breast with 8 ounce sirloin supposed to be cooked medium. A garden salad, and a loaded sweet potato. My husband had a large sirloin with loaded mashed. I ate my chicken first and didn’t cut into my steak until we were boxing food up. It was rare and I had ordered medium. I think the chicken might have been under cooked possibly also. My husband got to the middle of his steak and was rare. I became very sick around 8am. Severe abdominal pain, vomiting, chills, sweats, diarrhea. Common food poisoning symptoms. I just wanted to alert this location in case there were some issues that night. It was very busy and when it was time to leave I didn’t report the undercooked steak. I boxed it up and my husband said he could finish cooking when he got home. The waitress did ask was everything cooked ok when she ran by us BUT like I said I hadn’t even cut into mine yet. I’ve had family member tell me the wait staff makes you cut into it at the table at the location they goto. I think this is a good policy to follow. We have always gone there and never had any issues. | Symptoms: Nausea, Diarrhea, Vomiting, Stomach Pain, Fever, Cramps, Chills, Sweating
