Teen Ill After Sesame Noodles - The Rec Room Roundhouse, Toronto Ontario

18 hours ago reported by user-dmgw1245 business

The Rec Room Roundhouse, Bremner Boulevard, Toronto, ON, Canada

255 Bremner Boulevard, Toronto, M5V 3L9 Ontario, Canada

My 15 year old daughter had the Sesame Noodle salad on April 6th at about 4:30pm. She said the noodles were cold and slimy, but never having it before, she thought it was supposed to be like that. She did say it tasted “kinda gross”, but she was hungry and ate about half the plate worth, because as typical parents, we told her to eat what she ordered. That is all she had to eat that day aside to popcorn. At about 10pm that night she became violently ill with severe stomach pains, uncontrollable vomiting, uncontrollable diarrhea, a fever, chills, headache which led to light headedness and dizziness. She was up all night vomiting hard until only stomach bile was left, but it didn’t stop there. We had to cut our trip to Toronto short and rush her back to NY to the hospital the next morning. After a day in the ER, it was determined to be a severe case of food poisoning. Myself, my husband and my son were all ok, no symptoms at all. My son had the pizza and we both had a chicken sandwich. April 7th was my daughter’s 16th birthday and we had traveled to Toronto for a few days site seeing trip and to see a Blue Jays game. It is now April 8th and she is still fighting symptoms and in bed. In the hospital she was very dehydrated and received IV fluids and was given a prescription medication to stop the vomiting. We are extremely worried about her due to her never being sick like this. | Symptoms: Nausea, Diarrhea, Vomiting, Stomach Pain, Fever, Cramps, Chills, Headache, Dizziness, Bile
