Salmonella poisoningI have sent several emails that have only been returned. TRS MANAGER Cynthia Alfonso has never contacted me at all.
I arrived 5/15-5/23 , on 5/17 I started experiencing severe diarrhea. The cross contamination on the buffet is unexceptionable. MANY items everyday had no serving utensils. I was with 10 other guests. One quest spent the whole vacation in his room severely sick. Some of us days with no food severe pain and diarrhea in our rooms for 5 days. Butlers were going to report this. We never heard from manager or other. Upon arrival to the United States, one guest is hospitalized 5 day now, 2 had to go to emergency room. Some guests the doctors ordered a stool test. They ALL came back with a severe case of salmonella annd one with C-DIFF a serious gut annd colon infection , and are on medication .This was the worst vacation I've ever experienced. Not one person on property could help us. We tried to go to lunch and dinners but having to leave due to vomiting and diarrhea. You should be aware this is a very serious sickness. I would request some type of compensation due to negligence off TRS and spending thousands of dollars to stay at your resort to just be severely sick. This is now 12 days . This is a very serious health condition. This is NOT our first visit to the DR, we have stayed at TRS CapCana twice. I filled out the survey and the response was "I'm Sorry "! This has made me so angry , as if it's not a concern or care. We had also spoke with other guest that were experiencing similar symptoms
I request someone to contact me. | Symptoms: Nausea, Diarrhea, Vomiting, Stomach Pain, Cramps

People need to start boycotting this island. Maybe if they lose enough tourism, they will get trained properly in food safety and personal hygiene. My 3rd trip there ruined my life. Literally. After 12 weeks of diarrhea, I was diagnosed with an autoimmune disease. The dr explained that my body was fighting it my whole life but after being poisoned in the DR, my immune system had to battle that and stopped suppressing my autoimmune disease. Now I have 3 different autoimmune diseases and many food allergies. I can no longer eat gluten, wheat, dairy or eggs. Seriously ruined my life. I stayed at Melia all 3 times and it was the 3rd that did me in. My dr said no DR or Mexico. Their hygiene just isn’t up to par.
Are you going to sue this resort?
