My partner and I dined at this Italian restaurant in Amsterdam, and the experience left us with severe food poisoning that ruined our trip. We noticed concerning hygiene practices before our food arrived: staff were moving boxes and drinks from the restroom area directly into the kitchen, with the two doors positioned uncomfortably close to each other. This raised immediate concerns, but we had already placed our order, so we decided to stay – a decision we now deeply regret. My partner ordered the spaghetti bolognese and suffered through an awful night of vomiting, abdominal pain, and diarrhea. He has been experiencing an elevated temperature and headache since, making recovery extremely difficult. I had the frutti di mare pasta and have been dealing with nausea, abdominal pain, and severe bloating, though my symptoms have not been as intense. We had not eaten anything before or after that could have caused such a strong reaction, so it’s clear the meal was the source. Given these hygiene issues and our symptoms, I would advise others to be very cautious about dining here, as the health risks are significant. | Symptoms: Nausea, Diarrhea, Vomiting, Stomach Pain, Fever, Cramps, Headache, Bloating
