Undercooked Pizza Illness Strikes - Whata Lotta Pizza, Huntington Beach California

5 years ago reported by user-htbb1886 business

Whata Lotta Pizza, Beach Boulevard, Huntington Beach, CA, USA

18362 Beach Boulevard, Huntington Beach, 92648 California, United States

October 5, 10pm my girlfriend and I shared an extra large pizza with Italian sausage, pepperoni, onions, and mushrooms. The vegetables, cheese, and dough were all undercooked, but seemed edible.

She had two slices, and I had three, and then another for breakfast the next morning. I experienced extreme nausea and cramping for 48 hours, and didn't have a BM for the first 24.
My cramping subsided, but nausea remained consistent, with the addition of a burning rear end that developed a small infection in only a day. I made a trip to the hospital to get myself checked out. I have been struggling greatly with keeping myself hydrated, my muscles are sore even though I haven't been able to exercise since being sickened.

It has been six days, and I'm still nowhere near recovered. All I can eat is broth and crackers. My girlfriend is still having diarrhea. This is the third time we had food poisoning since moving to California two months ago. The food industry is in shambles. Get it together. | Symptoms: Nausea, Diarrhea, Other, Cramps, Soreness
