My husband fell suddenly ill while we were vacationing in Punta Cana in April. He had terrible diarrhea and vomiting. He was extremely weak and cold. This went on for 24 hours. Pretty sure this hotel served tainted alcohol that is killing some of the tourists visiting this country.  | Symptoms: Diarrhea, Fever, Nausea, Vomiting, Weakness

Symptoms began day 3 of trip. Severe sweating and moderate chills. So close to passing out, thought I would wing up in hospital. Severe diarrhea for 8 days. Could barely eat for a week., No one else got sick. Worst sweats and diarrhea I have ever experienced.  | Symptoms: Vomiting, Fever, Diarrhea, Chills, Sweating

My twelve year old son became very ill hours after eating at Torro. He vomited all night and had diarrhea until late into the evening of today. Thankfully he has a strong immune system and didnt require medical attention! He is feeling better tonight, we think he got a bad steak.  | Symptoms: Diarrhea, Vomiting
