My kids got happy meals. 2 of the meals had chicken nuggest, 1 meal had a cheeseburger. My sister ate 2 of the chicken nuggets and my kids ate the rest of their food. Went in to see Doctor at 2:30pm, didn't know it was food poisoning at the time, because of the pain just below chest I was sent to ER and hospitalized to be monitored for Heart Conditions instead. Called my co-worker and found out he had same symptoms on Friday Morning as well. By deduction, BK SEC Croissanwiches were the common link. Doctors did not treat as food poisoning. Pain was gone after 24 hours. No Nausea, No diarrhea, just slight elevated temperature (100 deg), chills, bloated burning pain directly under sternum.  | Symptoms: Fever, Bloating, Chills, Heartburn, Nausea, Diarrhea

Roly Poly Multigrain Bread was sold at Roly Poly Bakery, at Polmart, CT, New Britain Market Place, CT , Bernat’s Deli, MA and Golemo’s Market, MA. No illnesses have been reported to date in connection with this product.

The product comes in 20-ounce clear plastic bag marked with product information on top and bar-coded part number 5005-8723 on the bottom and was purchased prior to 04/11/2024.

The recall was initiated after it was discovered during an audit that a production employee used an egg wash instead of water to apply sunflower or oat ingredients on external product’s surface.

Production of the product has been suspended until CT Consumer Protection and the company are certain that the problem has been corrected.

Consumers who have purchased 20 ounce loafs of Roly Poly multigrain bread are urged to return the product to the place of purchase for full refund.
