My wife got Salmonella at the resort on Sept 8. We believe it was the room service eggs. She almost died as a result of complications from the bacteria. Still in ICU day 10. 2 surgeries so far and still 1 to go and a long long road to recovery.

Never left resort. Ate at buffet and at restaurant and then had diarrhea every 90 minutes thought the night. Once I started taking Pepto Bysmal, I made it through the rest of the 10 day trip with daily, but controllable diarrhea. Back home for a week and still have diarrhea but not as bad.

August 2022. On day 2 of our 6 day trip, both of our boys (11 and 9) got severe diarrhea, severe vomiting, stomach pain and high fevers. They did not see outside of the resort until the awful treks to the airport. We had to book a
separate flight for myself and our younger son because he was not yet well enough to fly. I had to pay an additional $500 to stay in the same room so I didn't have to move my son. We are home now and tomorrow will be day 8. Fevers are still present as is diarrhea, and my youngest just vomited again. Doc is testing for Salmonella and E Coli. We spent thousands to take our boys on their first real vacation. This is something they hope never to remember. An absolute nightmare.

Our family ate dinner at a Kyoto in the resort. I started having muscle and joint pains with nausea. Next 3 days was chronic diarrhea with stomach pains and headache.

I stayed at this resort from June 23 until June 26 a weekend getaway with my wife. We ate only at the resort and didn’t leave resort during our visit to Punta Cana. I got back Sunday night and Monday I started with non stop diarrhea for
4 days and went to the hospital on Thursday for abdominal pain with diarrhea. I end up having emergency surgery due to a bowel rupture due to being infected with salmonela and plesiomonas from food eaten at this resort. This weekend getaway cost me so far almost 4 weeks of work and a 4 day hospital stay after having surgery.

Please be very careful it’s going to the Dominican republic particularly if you’re going to this place. My family and I Returned to the US on 16 June 2022. Although myself Son and daughter are OK, my wife began to have severe symptoms including nausea vomiting diarrhea
headache malaise stomach cramps fever chills and weakness. These symptoms are still present today. She finally went to the ER yesterday, and was admitted to the hospital and diagnosed this morning with salmonella poisoning. I have never seen my wife this sick before. It is very scary. The food at this place is to blame. There is no doubt. The food was a huge disappointment. Please be aware and choose your resorts wisely.

Arrived on June 21 and by June 23 I became violently ill. I developed intense cramping in my stomach and starting to vomit and then developed a very high fever that was not controllable with over-the-counter Tylenol or ibuprofen and then very frequent intense diarrhea followed. About
12 hours later I was admitted into a local hospital where I remain for five days with the same symptoms before finally getting chest well enough to travel back to United States one week later but it was terrible and the worst I have felt in my whole entire life. Even the local hospital would not tell me exactly what I had which was even more frustrating

Stayed June 18-23, did not eat anywhere outside of hotel. High fever, severe dehydration and diarrhea kicked in on June 22 at night. On site dr gave Paramox but wanted me to go to clinic for IV meds. Came home, checked into ER, confirmed Salmonella poisoning.

Not sure- buffet at this place My boyfriend is currently in the ER getting iv fluids - we ate nowhere other than in the hotels restaurants and buffets. We drank no tap water. He has been sick with diarrhea, fever and chills for 2 days. Now his
heart rate is elevated due to dehydration
