Suffered severe food poisoning from food at Barcelo Puerto Vallarta. Severe vomiting diarrhea and nausea for 16 hours. Myself and two of our travel companions got sick. We ultimately left the hotel for a different property closer to downtown. Barcelo had a doctor on site but would
only see us if we paid $200 USD. Whole thing felt like a scam. For context - I had four alcoholic drinks during the entire stay (3 days).

We’ve only eaten at the hotel. I was very sick Thursday and now my husband is sick Monday. Obviously food poisoning! Unfortunately we missed 2 days of vacation along with a $240 excursion that would offer a refund or reschedule

Chills, diarrhea, vomiting all since getting home. Started on the flight home. We ate the salad bar at the buffet for dinner on 2/17. Feel horrible.

Last week, stayed there all inclusive. My husband, 2 year old, and myself all ate the buffet. We all got violent food poisoning - my husband had fever chills diarrhea in bed for 2 days. My two year old was very fevered and still has diarrhea this
week. I had fever and chills for 2 days and we all still have stomach pain and diarrhea this week.

Stayed for a week all-inclusive, and midweek had horrible diarrhea, painful stomach cramps, nausea, and a low-grade fever. Have been home now for almost two weeks and symptoms have continued. My doctor is currently testing me for bacterial infection and parasites. I’m not sure if it was
bad water, bad food, or other guests spreading something like stomach flu or norovirus, I just know that my symptoms started before ever leaving the resort for an excursion and this is the sickest I have EVER been in my entire life.

Food and or pool Our party of 7 visited here on April 28th. We all ate at the buffet and swam in the pool. We all got sick but my son and brother in law can’t keep any food and have severe diarrhea and stomach pain. We
ate at the buffet there. It can be the from the food or the pool. The international drinks at the pool bar didn’t taste right. Who knows what kind of water is used for the ice or to wash the cups. It happened on 04/29/2022
