The whole hotel seems superficially nice but it is not. I had the worst experience I ever made. It started that the rooms are wet, aircondition is not working properly, employees open in the night your door.

But the worst thing was the food poison from a... See More hamburger at a food truck at the beach. My girlfriend and me shared one hamburger and 3 hours later the nightmare started, i lost consciousness, diarrhea, vomiting, maximal pain you cannot imagine. Also my girlfriend had the same symptoms. We had no other food than in this hotel, no food at the airport before, stayed already 4 days in the hotel, we wash and sanitize regulary before eating our hands. So no discussion that this could come from somewhere else.

The medical service costs for some tablets and electrolyt water 336 Dollars.
When I complained about the food poisoning no one took me for serious and they told me if not all other guests have it, it can be everything.

I contacted guest service (which does not care about guests but about sending them away). I gave them my medical report but they were not interested in.

No luck. I asked for the General Manager Jorge de la Vieja. The guest service manager called and repeated in spanish: oh you don’t want to meet them?
Wow! Here they do everything to unsatisfy the guest.
I do not recommend this hotel and also not the way treating guests. As long as you pay everything is fine but when you have a problem you get ignored.

So the whole answer from the General Manager shows again that they are not interested in solving the problem, tell you they are not responsible and want to make you believe you got the food poison from somewhere else. They even do not check the bad food to avoid that other guests can get it.

There were already 10 people in Punta Cana died in a hotel from food posion and they take it that serious : zero! Thanks for playing with our health and live and try to put away the responsibility. | Symptoms: Nausea, Diarrhea, Vomiting
