This was back in 2016 so I don’t remember everything. It was the sickest I have ever been in my life. Symptoms started on the plane ride home after a several day stay. I had to go to the urgent care for IV fluids and antiemetics. Nausea,
vomiting, headache, severe sore throat, chills. I felt like I was dying. It was a company trip and many others got sick as well.
I ate at several of the restaurants there, I including the buffet. I didn’t drink any alcohol and the only meat I had the entire time was bacon. I had fruits, vegetables, bottled water, and various carbs (don’t remember exactly what).
I also got severe hives across my entire torso on day 2 after spending 10 min in the ocean at the beach of the resort. I have aquagenic urticaria but I have never ever had a reaction that severe to any other body of water. | Symptoms: Nausea, Diarrhea, Vomiting, Headache, Chills, Sore Throat, Soreness

My fiance and I both got terrible food poisoning diariah fever chills from our stay. For him it was the night of the hibachi dinner. For me it was one day later. And it was terrible! Fever, aches, diarrhea, nausea, tired, cramps.

Stayed from the 23rd-30th of DEC. around 2am our last night, I had cramps which led to throwing, diarrhea and very bad nausea. I Was up for at least 5 hours throwing up ETC. My daughter got very sick as well and we both had to go
in wheelchairs in the airport because the cramps were so bad. We never left the property and did not drink anything from a can or tap. I have never been this ill before. I don’t know how or why we got so sick!!! As I stated above, we did not leave the hotel, we did not drink anything out of the ordinary and we did not go swimming in the pools. This is a 5 star resort and was very expensive so I’m upset to say the least.

Not aure Arrived Sunday 12/22/2019 got sick evening of 12/26/2019. Ate at los gallos that evening at 7pm. Woke up with stomach cramps and diarrhea at 4 am. That afternoon had a hotdog by the pool. Bit of cheese, breadstick and coffee for breakfast at Ciao. Have
only had food and drinks at the hotel. Never left the property.

We ate and drank at all local eateries/bars on the premises. Half of our 16 person group became ill towards the end of the trip and has been bed ridden since we returned to the states 3 days ago. Symptoms include fever, aches, cough, sore throat, congestion & diarrhea.

I have no idea, but after I got off the plane at the resort, I drank warm Koolaide. That was it. Possibly, after eating Lobster at dinner, as well., It only happened to myself and the next morning of arrival, about 3am, I woke up with a
massive brain bleed, vomiting and hallucinating. Horrid!
A Neurosurgeon just happened to be staying at the same resort and he saved my life. He shaved my head and put a shunt into my skull. The resort paid (of course) for me, my son and my mother to fly back to the States to go to a hospital here.
I was in a medically induced coma for 3 months. If it wasn't for the Dr. being on vacation there, I would have died. Absolutely. It was HORRID.
I had the same symptoms as others whom have since passed away there, horrible hallucinations and rehabilitation was NOT a picnic. My son who was 7 yrs old at the time, thought I was dying. I would have died. I was told by my Dr. that I coded twice on the Medivac plane on the home from the D.R.
You can not pay me to ever return.
Anyhow, I hope some agency will find out what the heck is going on over there. I know the FBI & EPA (if we still actually have an EPA anymore) and the DEA went to the very resort I went to with my son and mother.
It is a beautiful resort/country.

Severe food poisoning in 2015. Vomit, seizures, hospitalized, unconscious for 48 hours. Hospital said poisoned meat, Parents and family friend doctors flew to Punta Cana to revive me when I was unconscious. I was the only one sick in my group, only one who had the room
service meat. Severe nausea and vomiting started within about an hour and progressed for a few hours before I went unconscious and was sent to the Punta Cana hospital

I stayed for a wedding from April 30 to May 6, 2019. I woke up violently ill the evening of the wedding (May 4th). I threw up uncontrollably for 5 to 6 hours and was hardly able to eat for several days after. My husband was feeling
nauseous the day before and my daughter woke up nauseous the same day as myself. I personally felt I had food poisoning because I had never thrown up so violently. I didn’t have any mini bar drinks, but on the evening I woke up ill I switched from mostly drinking beer throughout the week that evening. Throughout the week I ate at various hotel restaurants: the dessert place, ice cream, pool food, rehearsal dinner, wedding appetizers & wedding dinner. I also viewed a small vehicle spraying a cloud of pesticides on two occasions and our hotel room was on the first floor with plants just outside our deck. Who knows what caused the vomiting, but just glad we’re all ok., . I was the only one in my family who vomited. Others wedding guests either didn’t feel great while in the DR and others upon returning home. Some assumed it was attributed to too much food & drink. Those that were ill upon returning home attributed it to a passenger that was ill on their flight home. I don’t have the other guests specifics.

Got sick on my third or fourth day with nausea, repeated violent diarrhea and vomiting. Never experienced this before, lasted 2-3 days, abdominal problems lasted for weeks even at home. Ruined my whole wedding holiday. Paid expensive AI and could not eat much after that. Saw raw
chicken parts, unboiled eggs, uncooled ice etc. Minibar Whiskey tasted terrible, spilled it out in seconds. This could have saved my life! Not sure if it was drink or meal that made me sick. First time in DR and will never return. Read about the deaths after I got sick. Also saw an ambulance down at our building one day and a kid vomiting by the pool. No fake news, this is reality! Incident occured end of June.
