Beef Jerky and Beef Snack Stick recalled due to Undeclared Allergen

Springville Meat & Cold Storage Co., Inc. is recalling approximately 15,388 pounds of beef jerky, beef snack sticks, and voluntarily inspected elk, venison, and buffalo jerky due to undeclared fish (anchovies). The recalled items were distributed to retail locations nationwide in the United States.The recall was initiated after FSIS inspectors found that a change in Worcestershire sauce introduced anchovies, a known allergen, into the products. The recall was initiated voluntarily and announced on June 4, 2025.
The recall includes beef jerky, beef snack sticks, and voluntarily inspected elk, venison, and buffalo jerky produced between May 30, 2023, and May 30, 2025. The products bear the establishment number "EST. 20528" inside the USDA mark of inspection.
